dozens more. Baby Buddies Birth Center provides options for expecting families that aren't available in a traditional hospital setting. Welcome your new family member into the world in one of our beautifully appointed private rooms. Our professional staff will guide you through your delivery, offering options such as water-birth equipment and doulas.

Baby Buddies Birth Center Believes that...

  • Women have the right to seek care that is medically safe, fits their lifestyle, and recognizes and respects their individual physical, social, spiritual, psychological, and economic needs

  • Women and families have the right and responsibility to assume an active role in their own health care.  Our care is provided by a team, with the client as an equal team member

  • Childbirth is a normal, healthy process. The role of the caregiver is to support and promote this normal process, while recognizing and dealing with any deviations from normal. Confidence in this normal process is promoted in all aspects of care

  • Because the family is the cornerstone of our social structure, maternity care must support and promote family unity and development.  Family members, including siblings, should be involved in the childbearing experience to whatever extent the family desires.  “Family” is defined by the client

  • Education is an essential part of quality health care.  With knowledge freely exchanged between our staff and clients, women and their families are able to assume shared responsibility for, and make informed choices about their health care

We are proud to say that many Harmony Health Medical Assistants are now trained doulas!  A doula is a mother's advocate during the perinatal and postnatal process, including the birth.  Her role is to support the mother and father and help them achieve their best birth experience.

"Welcoming my second baby girl at Baby Buddies Birth Center in May 2024 was an experience I’ll cherish forever. It was empowering, peaceful, and deeply meaningful. Although I had given birth to my first daughter at a birthing center as well, this time was completely different—it felt more connected, more grounded, and more supported.

One of the most beautiful parts of this birth was having my family by my side. Their love gave me so much strength—especially my young daughter, who was present during labor. Seeing her there, calm and involved, reminded me just how powerful and natural this process is. Her quiet presence brought me comfort and made the experience even more special.

My midwife, Ashley, was incredible. In those intense moments when I needed someone to steady me, she offered the confidence and care I needed. She reminded me that I was ready, that I was capable, and helped me stay centered through it all.

The birth center itself provided the perfect environment—calm, quiet, and peaceful. I had the freedom to move, to listen to my body, and to labor in the way that felt right for me. I had always hoped for a water birth with my first baby, but it didn’t happen. This time, it did—and it was everything I dreamed of and more.

Now, as I prepare to welcome my third baby, there’s no question in my mind where I want to be. Baby Buddies Birth Center is not just a place—it’s a sacred space where I feel safe, supported, and truly seen.
